Wine, Women, and Song…Let Fine Wine Lead You To The Benefits Of Wine.

Here are Some of the Benefits of Drinking Wine Regularly!

I will be the first to admit that I am not a wine connoisseur. That does not mean that I am totally without some knowledge of wines.

Drinking wine on a regular basis is good for your health.

Let us start our journey to better health by listing some of the benefits of drinking wine. This relates mostly to Red Wine, but all types of wine will relax you, therefore lowering blood pressure. If you already have high blood pressure, then drinking red wine can reduce your chance of a heart attack. Did you know that red wine can reduce your chances of having cataracts? Well, I am here to tell you that it can. Now, this is probably the last affliction that anybody wants to discuss, but drinking red wine can reduce your chances of getting colon cancer.

Benefits of Drinking Wine and The Brain

My personal favorite reason for drinking wine is that it can boost your Brain Health ! That means drinking red wine moderately on a regular basis can slow the pace at which our brains decline.

Now most of us know that alcohol turns into sugar once we ingest it and that it can lead to increased belly fat. Belly fat can lead to type 2 diabetes, yet drinking red wine regularly can inhibit the development of type 2 diabetes in many adults compared to those who do not drink wine at all.

Heart Healthy With Wine

This benefit is another one of my favorite reasons to drink wine. It can reduce your risk of heart disease! Red wine tannins contain a chemical called procyanidins, which in turn protect against heart disease. The wines from Sardinia and the southwest regions of France contain the highest levels of these procyanidins.

This is where Our Wine Of The Month Club is so great! When you become a member, the wines you receive come from all over the world. So when you find one that you like, all you have to do is let them know that you would like that particular wine on a regular basis.

Another good reason to drink wine is that it can reduce your risk of forming blood clots. Blood clots, i.e., deep vein clots, can break loose and block the blood flow to your heart, lungs, and brain. A blockage of blood flow to the brain is known as a stroke. Blocking blood flow to the arteries of the heart can lead to a heart attack or even sudden death.

Wine, women, & song...let wine ambassadors lead you to the benefits of wineNow this one is for the men. While drinking fine wines has many health benefits, certainly one of the BEST benefits for men is that it can help prevent prostate cancer. I cannot speak for anyone other than myself, but I would not want to watch any of the men in my family go through the experience of a prostate cancer diagnosis. The first would be the heartbreaking news of the cancer. Next would be the surgery and the possibility of chemotherapy. Finally, the aftermath of surviving, or God forbid, The steady decline as cancer consumes the ones I love so all of you wives and mothers out there, encourage your men to partake a little red wine regularly. Because they just might thank you later.

As for myself, I really enjoy a glass of wine while I am listening to some of my favorite music. I start singing along (the dogs start howling), then I start dancing around the house. This is one of the ways I like to clean my house. Nothing motivates me more than wine and good music.

When a woman goes out for dinner, lunch, or just to have some fun with her friends, she appears a little more elegant if she has a glass of wine in her hand instead of a beer or hard liquor. First impressions are sometimes hard to change. You never know if someone who is important to your life might just be watching. It could be your next boss or your next best friend.
