Now Comic Book Art is a valuable commodity. While we all remember trading Baseball Cards? Of course, there is always “Football” memorabilia. Moreover, most of us know how valuable “Art” can be. Therefore why not invest and collect some of your best times? I can remember reading comics for hours. However for many of us; that was where we really learned to read. Furthermore, we learned to enjoy reading with our comics. With so many of our fun times locked in these amazing little books. Wouldn’t you like to be reminded of happy times; every time you walked by a framed page or character from those days? Certainly, a good time to enjoy a glass of Fine Wine.
Whenever I think of the comics that I read. There were two very special ones. One was “The Archies”, I adored Veronica. Betty was the sensible but fun girl next door. The second was “Blackhawks”; these belonged to my cousin Pete. I adored the action and exotic places they experienced. But I just loved reading what the french character would say. Every once in a while, he would throw in a french word. Oh, the hours I spent trying to pronounce the word; then trying to figure out what it meant. That was the main reason I decided to take French in school. Then I would carefully put back the one I had read. As I did not want my cousin banning me from reading them due to damage.

When I think of how those characters shaped the woman I am today. Then I imagine having a print; or the original artwork of these amazing books. Walking by a blast from the past would be something to smile about. Not that I need something to smile about. I tend to smile a lot without a reason. But those types of memories have a special little smile attached. Certainly, like the rest of my generation; we went through some tough times. But Betty’s influence and my own optimistic outlook on life; carried me through the rough still smiling. Of course as an adult; we have new reasons to smile. Especially since my amazing weight loss. I feel like a million dollars. But that will be nothing; once I have about 6 weeks of Uüth on board. This is the third side of the health triangle. Life has never been better than it is today.
