Sedona and Its Mystic Vortices are very sacred places. Long ago, the Indian tribes living there felt its power. Along with its breathtaking beauty, it has long been a place of healing.
I arrived late last night in Sedona. As a result, I couldn’t appreciate the beauty around me. However, the surrounding hills were breathtaking this morning. I should mention that it snowed here last week. As a result, the area has been dusted with snow. Fortunately, the temperature outside is in the 50s. Despite the fact that I did some research on the subject. I was unprepared for the strength of its beauty. These incredible rock outcroppings are dusted with snow. It literally took my breath away. While contemplating what to do today. I felt compelled to visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross. I discovered that all you need to do is show up with an open mind. Before I begin, I must state that the sunsets and sunrises are spectacular.
The Sedona And Its Mystical Vortices
While I was researching the sedona, I looked at the vortex that I had been told about. Now imagine my surprise to find that there were actually seven vortices here. Firstly, let me explain what a Vortex is in laymen’s terms. This is quoted from the Sedona Visitors Center Handout. “Vortexes are enhanced energy sites that facilitate prayer, meditation, mind-body healing, and creative thinking”. Now Sedona is home to seven Vortices. Although some he a combined energy, still others have a singular energy. Now let’s take them one-by-one before I tell you about my experience.
Sedona And It’s Seven Mystical Vortices
- AIRPORT VORTEX: This surrounds the amazing airport that is located high upon a mesa. While considered an electromagnetic vortex, this one has a 360-degree view of the scenery. Now this one is considered “Masculine” energy. Which strengthens your internal spirit to take charge of your own life. Learning the “Worth” you place on yourself.
- CATHEDRAL ROCK VORTEX- Now this vortex is considered a “Truly Feminine” energy. Which affects the body and mind. With the combination of cleansing the body and generating great energy, certainly by combining meditation with this vortex; gives you a connection to the Earth’s energy.
- BELL ROCK VORTEX- Although another electromagnetic vortex. Bell Rock combines Quartz crystals beneath the surface. However, this one strengthens all three aspects of our spirit. Firstly, the masculine part revealing deep regard for oneself. Secondly, the feminine part which values the lives of others. Thirdly, the spiritual part strengthens not only how you treat others, but reflects how you treat yourself. Thus revealing which emotions you feel the most.
- BOYNTON CANYON VORTEX- This vortex is considered the most scared of the seven vortices. While it is an electromagnetic vortex of balanced energies. With its affect on all three spiritual parts. This one benefits your relationships with the strengthening of honesty, intimacy, and openness.
- SCHNEBLY HILL ROAD VORTEX- Within this vortex you will experience a strong sense of energy. Therefore it is a place to bring you in harmony with yourself and nature. Thereby, allowing you to release negative patterns and blockages. Providing you a positive look into the changes needed to go forward.
- COURTHOUSE BUTTE VORTEX- This vortex radiates from the Earth to the sky. Thus revealing mystic spiritual energy. Which facilitates your personal and spiritual growth.
- CHAPEL OF THE HOLY CROSS VORTEX- While this is the vortex that “Touched” me. This vortex is one of inspiration and joy. With the addition of feeling harmony, love, oneness with all that is, and unity.
Sedona And It’s Mystical Vortices: My Experience
When I was walking up to the Chapel Of The Holy Cross. It is hard to explain what I was feeling. Certainly, there was a sense of something else there among us. However, upon walking into the Chapel; I felt an energy throughout my entire body. Now, this was not like the energy I felt upon taking my first “Snap” of Brān. This was entirely different. It was more of an affirmation that I was on the right path. That my goal or reason for all of this writing; is to spread Love and Acceptance around the world. Yet I also felt a lightening of my heart. Like a feeling that no one was going to bring me down. That my energy would not succumb to any of the negative energies that I encounter along the way. This was a very enlightening experience.
After leaving the Chapel, I was happier than I had been in weeks. Now I need to let those of you that do not know me know; that I am basically a happy person. While some things get me down. Nothing gets me down for very long. However, one of the worst things to happen to a parent happened to me. I lost my son to cancer. But true to form, he gave me my heart back. Thereby, continuing my happiness. With this overflowing heart; I hope to bring some love and tolerance to a world filled with despair and hatred.
